Corporal John Alexander Mlynarczyk 32484856 US Army KIA. He was born on June 3, 1919 in Wilmington, Delaware, He was the son of John Muinerczik and Veronika Muinerczik. He entered the US Army on December 18, 1942 at the age of 23, in Camden New Jersey. At the time of his enlistment he was 5 foot 5 inches tall weighed 136 Pounds, had hazel eyes and brown hair. He was Killed in action on October 28, 1944 on Leyte, at the age of 25. He served in combat with Antitank Company, 382nd Infantry Regiment, 96th Infantry Division. He was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge, The Bronze Star Medal, the Purple Heart Medal, The American Theater of operations Medal, The Asiatic Pacific Theater of operations, World War Two Victory Medal, and the Philippine Liberation Medal.
