T/5 Odis Hill, US Army. He was the son of Mr, and Mrs. V. P. Hill, of Taylor Texas and the brother of S 1 /c Grady M. Hill, T/5c Lucille Hill, S 1/c Francis R. Hill. Odis, attended Jonah High School. He entered the Army, in 1941, and trained at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo. He served in Sicily, Italy, France, Germany and Central Europe. Awarded American defense Medal, ETO Medal 6 Bronze Stars, 1 Arrowhead, Good Conduct Ribbons. He was discharged in 1945.
