Sgt. Melvin P. Hiebner

Sgt. Melvin P. Hiebner US Army Air Corps. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Hiebner, of Taylor Texas, and brother of  Student Nurse Bernice Hiebner, PFC William R. Hiebner. Melvin graduated of Taylor High School. He entered the Army Air Corps, in 1943 and, trained in Denver, Colo., Indiana and California. He was awarded ETO Ribbon with 8 Battle Stars, Pres. Citation with Cluster and Good Conduct Medal. He was discharged in 1945.
