Technical Sergeant Dayle Oras Gillenwater
Technical Sergeant Dayle Oras Gillenwater 16027309 US Army Air Corps. He was born on March 27, 1916 in Rushville Illinois. He was the son of Orrin C Gillenwater, and Lulu Danner Gillenwater of Rushville Illinois. He also had 7 siblings including S/Sgt Gayle C. Gillenwater 36068605 Army Air Corps KIA, and Orren R Gillenwater. He entered the service on August 8, 1940. He served as an airplane mechanic in the European Theater. He lived in Waco Texas and died on March 19 1980 at the age of 63, 8 days before his 64th Birthday in Dallas Texas.
