S/ Sgt. Jospeh C. Gafford, Jr.

S/ Sgt. Jospeh C. Gafford, Jr., US Army. He was the son of Mrs. J. C. Gafford, Sr., and the brother of Pfc. Duhart M. Gafford, Jospeh was the husband of Mrs. Modena Gafford, he attended Corsicana Schools. He entered the service, in 1940, trained with 63rd Infantry at Camp Robinson and Camp Wolters. As of 1946 he was on duty in France.
