Private First Class RANDALL FANNIN 35649492, U. S. Army. Born September 3, 1923. Entered service February, 1943, at the age of 19 he served at, Fort McClellan, Ala.; North Africa; Sicily (ETO). Killed in action in Nettuno, Italy, May 20, 1944, at the age of 20. He served in D Company 168th Infantry 34th Division. Awarded Purple Heart (PHM). Attended Wayland High School. He was a member of the Church of God. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Fannin, of Box 4, GIO, Ky.
