Sergeant Jack L. Critchfield 39004653

Sergeant Jack L. Critchfield 39004653 US Army. Born 28 January 1915 in Imperial, Nebraska Attended Imperial schools and was a rancher at time of joining service on 13 March 1941 at the age of 26. Received his preliminary training at Camp Roberts, California, and served with Hdq. Company, 159th Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division; taking part in the invasion and occupation of Attu in the Aleutian Islands Campaign. Honorably discharged on 23 October 1945, he holds the American Defense, American Theater, and Asiatic Pacific (PTO) with Battle Star, Good Conduct, and Victory Medal. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Critchfield of Burlington, Colorado. He is the brother of Corporal Max G. Critchfield, Private First Class George W. Critchfield, and Private John Junior Critchfield.
