Technical 4th Grade T/4 CHARLES I. COPPEDGE 38041175 , husband of Elise Coppedge, of Dallas, Texas, was born December 5, 1917. He attended Brown School, Dallas, and volunteered for service on March 21, 1941 at the age of 23. He was assigned to the Army, 760th Tank Battalion. He trained at Camp Hood Texas. He served 9 months in North Africa and 11 months in Italy, in the battles of Cassino, Gustav Line, Hitler Line, and Arno River (ETO). Awards: Good Conduct medal, Mechanic Badge. Honorably discharged, 1945.
