Staff Sgt. Parker D. Carter 18038350 US Army. He was the Son of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Carter, of Brownwood Texas, He attended Hardin High School. He entered the US Army, in 1941, trained at Ft. Sill. Okla. and Ft. Clark. Tex. Served in Africa, Sicily and Italy. He served in the 414 Port Company 524 Port BN.  Was awarded the  AT, GCM, ET and Victory Medals
