Staff Sergeant LOUIS STEVENS BRYAN 33158258 US army KIA. He was born on September 24, 1918 the son of William J Bryan, and Nettie Bryan of Bath County Virginia. He entered the US Army on April 3, 1942, at the age of 23. He served in Company  E 305^th Infantry Regiment, 77th Infantry Division.  He took part in the landings on Guam, Philippines, and Okinawa. He was Killed in action June 18, 1945 on Okinawa, at the age of 26. His body was returned to the united states in 1949. He was awarded the Purple Heart Medal, the Combat Infantryman Badge, and the Expert Infantry Badge.
