1st Sgt. Edgar Bocknight, Jr.

1st Sgt. Edgar Bocknight, Jr., US Army son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Bocknight, Brownwood, He was the husband of Willie Grace, he graduated from Hardin High School. He entered the US Army. in 1940, He trained at Fort. Sill, Okla. N.C. and Miss. Served in the ETO. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal. The Good Conduct Medal. the ETO Medal, 2 Battle Stars and Victory Ribbons. He was discharged in 1945.
