EM 2/c Roy H. Bittle, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Bittle, he attended Fruita Union High School. He entered the US Navy in May, 1942 ; trained in San Diego, Calif and Minneapolis, Minn.; he served in Pacific; awarded Asiatic Pacific Ribbon with one Battle Star, the American Theater Ribbon, Philippine Liberation Ribbon with two Battle Stars and Good Conduct Medal, and the World War Two Victory Medals; he was discharged in Dec., 1945.
