Private First Class Stanley Danis Beeman 35603138 KIA US Army. He was born on March 12, 1924 the son of Willard Stanley Beeman and Edyth C Colgin Beeman of Union, Ohio. He entered the US army on February 16, 1943 in Akron Ohio. He served in the Medical Detachment, 382nd Infantry Regiment, 96th Infantry Division. On November 14, 1944 he was Killed in Action on Leyte by enemy machine gun fire. He was awarded the American Theater Medal, World War Two Victory Medal, Philippine Liberation Medal with 2 BRONZE BATTLE STARS, Asiatic-Pacific Theater Medal with BRONZE BATTLE STAR and BRONZE ARROWHEAD, PURPLE HEART MEDAL, BRONZE STAR MEDAL, and Combat Medic Badge.
