Sergeant Robert P. Babb

Sergeant Robert P. Babb US Army Air Corps. He was from Chillicothe, Missouri. He entered the US Army Air Forces on July 3, 1941. He trained at  Fort Warren, Wyoming; Amarillo, Texas; Chanute Field, Illinois; Lowry Field, Colorado. He served overseas from November, 1941, until April, 1944. He served in Alaska, China Burma lndia, Pacific Theatre. He was engaged in  Bombing of Japan. He was awarded 5 Gold Stars, on the Presidential Unit Citation. He returned to United States  in January, 1943. On October, 1945 he was discharged at Camp Crowder, Missouri, October 21, 1945. Served 52 months . As of 1946 he was in Service Station Attendant.
