Pvt. Dan R. Anthony, US Army. He was the son of Rev. and Mrs. D. W. Anthony, of Prescott, Ark., and the husband of the former Hattie Holly. He attended McRae High school. He entered the US Army in 1944, training at Camp Robinson, Ark., later serving at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas. He received his discharge.
