Radar Operator Donnie Kirk Allen

Radar Operator Donnie Kirk Allen, US Navy. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Allen, and brother of Seaman, First Class Osa Allen, and Corporal Dalton Lee Allen, of Graham, Texas. Kirk was also the husband of Ireta Jones Allen. He attended Jean School and graduate of Dinuab, California. He entered the US Navy, in 1943. He trained in San Diego. Served in Marshalls, Admiraltys, Dutch New Guinea and Guam. Awarded American Theater operation Medal, the Asiatic Pacific Theater of operation Medal (PTO) with 4 Battle Stars, the World War Two Victory Medal. He was discharged in 1945.
