Signalman, First Class  William Alexander

Signalman, First Class & Steward’s Mate, First Class William Alexander US Navy. He was born on February 27, 1917 the son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Alexander, of Valley Mills, and the husband of Lottie Mae Justice. He attended Valley Mills Dunbar. He entered Navy, in 1944, around the age of 27. He trained in Bainbridge, Maryland, and served in the Pacific and was discharged, in 1946. He died on October 17, 1989, at the age of 72.
