Private First Class, ARTHUR D. AKERS 36432699 US Army Truck Driver. He was born in 1922. He entered the US army on October 22, 1942 in Peuria Illinois at the age of 20. He served in the ETO as a Truck Driver Light. He was awarded the Ribbons: European American Theater with three bronze battle stars for Ardennes Rhineland and Central Europe campaigns.
