PRIVATE First CLASS WILLIAM R. Aibick 31358029. Private Aibick attended the Bartlett School and graduated from the Haverhill High School in 1940, continuing there for a year’s post graduate work. He was employed at the Pentucket Mills for a few months before entering the service in August, 1942. Private Aibick was a member of the Lithuanian Gedymino Club. He served in Company G, 329th Infantry regiment 83rd infantry division. He was stationed in Virginia before being sent overseas in January, 1944. Landing in England, he trained for the invasion of France. Private Aibick was killed in France, July 11, 1944, and is buried there. He leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Aibick of Pittsfield, Mass., and two sisters.
