USS Manta (SS-299)
The USS Manta (SS-299) was a a Balao-class submarine that was launched on November 7, 1943, Commissioned on December 18, 1944, Decommissioned on June 10 1946 and Recommissioned August 2, 1949. The USS Manta served in the Pacific during World War Two. The Ship earned the Pacific Campaign Medal, and the World War Two Victory Medal.
