T/ Sergeant JAMES ELMER NORMAN 15058416, U. S. Army. Born May 23, 1923. Entered service October 13, 1940, at the age of 17. He served at, Battle Creek, Michigan; Europe (ETO). Killed in action in France, November 20, 1944 at the age of 21. He served in Company M, 10th infantry Regiment, 5th Infantry Division. Attended New Alma School. He is a Protestant. Son of Mr. Noah Norman, of McCarr, Kentucky.
