Pharmacist’s Mate, First Class LARRIE EUGENE BYRGE, U. S. Navy. Born Feb. 13, 1923. Entered service January 2, 1941, at the age of 17. He served at Norfolk, Va.; Pacific (PTO). Awarded the Presidential Unit Citation (PUC) and two Battle Stars. Attended Belfry, Kentucky., High School. He is a Methodist. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Lindsey Byrge, brother of SoM2/c DARRYL BYRGE KIA of McAndrews, Kentucky.
