T/5 Clarence Clifton

T/5 Clarence Clifton US Army. He was the son of Mrs. Berda, and Major, Carwell. He was the husband of Hattie Swein. He attended Old Bethelhem High School. He entered the US Army, in 1943. He trained in Okla., Mississippi La. and N.J. He served in France and Germany. He was awarded the GCM, AD, ETO, 2 Battle Stars. Victory Ribbons and Truck Driver’s Medal. He was discharged in 1946.
