PFC Leo Herbert Raley 38052859 US Army Air Corps. He was born on April 1, 1913, in Dawson, Texas. He was the son of Floyd Lee Raley and Ludie Hester Slater Raley. He had one son with Ruby Eldridge Thompson. In 1930 he was living in Hubbard Texas. He Married Gloria Hope in November 1940. He entered the military on Feb 26, 1941, at the age of 27. At the time of his enlistment he was working as a musicians and teacher of music in Florida. At the time of his enlistment he was 5 foot 10 inches tall weighed 145 pounds had black hair and gray eyes. He served in the Quartermaster Corps of the Army Air Corps. He received his training at Albuquerque and Kingman, and was then sent overseas in November, 1944. He had served in Italy, France and Germany with the 12th Air Force. He was discharged on Nov 1, 1945. In 1950 he was living in Houston Texas and was married to Ruby E Raley and they had 1 child Gray Raley. He died on May 30, 1983, at the age of 70, in Deer Park Texas and was buried in Pasadena, Texas.
