SP 2/c Clara G. Hackemesser US Navy WAVE, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hackemesser, Taylor Texas. She attended New Bern and Hare High School. She entered the WAVES in, 1943 and trained at Bronx, New York. and NAS, Dallas. She was awarded The American Campaign Medal, The Good Conduct Medal, and the World War Two Victory Medal. She was discharged in 1945.
