Pvt. Elsie M. Connell, USMC Marine Corps. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Cornell, and sister of S1/c Larry Lee Connell, of Georgetown Texas. Elsie was a graduate of Georgetown High School. She entered the Marines in 1943, she trained at Camp Lejeune. She served in the United States, and was discharged in 1945.
