S 1/c Bernard C. Holiwell, US Navy. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Holiwell, attended Hobart schools.  Entered  Navy  in  Oct., 1943, trained in  Great  Lakes,  Ill.  and  Shumake,  Cal.;  sened in Hawaii and the Pacific Area; was honorably discharged in Dec., 1945.
