T/5 Alfred G. Bahr 34165434

 

Technician Fifth Grade Alfred George Bahr was born on February 23, 1918, in St Paul, Minnesota. He was the son of Albert and Anna Bahr. He entered the US Army on March 4, 1942 at the age of 24. He served in the European theater of operations with 2nd Platoon, Company F, 253^rd Infantry Regiment, 63^rd Infantry Division. He earned the Bronze Star Medal on April 6, 1945 at Buchhof Germany.  He was discharged on December 30, 1945.He died on November 10, 2006, in Saint Paul, Minnesota at the age of 88.
