Private First Class Robert L. Carter

Private First Class Robert L. Carter, son of Mrs. Lucille Carter, of Meridian. He attended Moor High School. He entered the Army, in 1941, trained at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, Camp Silbert, Alabama, and Maryland, Delaware. He served in England, France, and Germany. He was awarded the Good Conduct Ribbon, ETO Ribbon and Victory Medal. He was discharged in 1946.
