PFC Clayton Nickell 35433789

Private First Class Clayton Nickell 35433789 US Army. He entered the US army on June 25, 1942 in Mingo County West Virginia, at the age of 22. He served in 3rd Platoon F Company, 253rd Infantry Regiment63rd Infantry Division. On April 6, 1945 at the age of 23 he was wounded during the battle of Buchhof. He was awarded the Purple Heart Medal (PHM),  the American Theater of operations Medal, the European African Middle Eastern Theater of operations, The Combat Infantry Badge, and the World War Two Victory Medal.
