He was born on June 17, 1917 in Byesville, Ohio, the son of Nestor Joseph Joe Lefevre and Barbra Hanner LeFevre, of Weston; West Virginia. He was married to Ruth A. LeFevre. He entered the US Army on February 17, 1942. He was a member of the 499th bombardment squadron and the 345th bombardment group. He was killed in a plane crash, on January 27, 1943 5 Miles North East of Columbia South Carolina.
