Staff Sergeant Bobbie Ray Williams, 38338270 US Army KIA. He was born on July 4, 1922 the son of Mrs. D. M. Williams, of 4th Street Graham Texas he attended Graham Schools. He was the husband of Mattie Hicks. He entered the US Army in 1943, trained in Oregon, and California. He served in Pacific With Company A, 382nd Infantry Regiment, 96th Infantry DivisionHe was awarded the Purple Heart Medal (PHM), with Oak Leaf Cluster, The Combat Infantry Badge (CIB), The American Campaign Medal, the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal (PTO), The Good Conduct Medal, and the World War Two Victory Medal. He was wounded at Okinawa in 1945. Killed in action at Okinawa on April 22, 1945.
