Private First Class EVERETT C. MORRIS, 38563887, US Army. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred C. Morris of Mustang, Oklahoma, he was born October 20, 1924, at Cement and attended Mustang High School. He entered service in Oklahoma City, August 18, 1943, at the age of 18, he trained at Camp Adair. PFC Morris served overseas 7 months in the (ETO) Theater of with Company K, 361st Infantry Regiment, 91st Infantry Division, 5th Army. He was wounded in Action in Italy, on October 10, 1944, and died the same day of his wounds, at the age of 19. His body was returned to Mustang, Oklahoma in 1949. He earned the Purple Heart Medal (PHM) and European Theater of Operations (ETO).
