Private First Class Noah Paul Graves service number 38642393 Killed in Action. He was born in 1925 the son of Mr. and Mrs B. L. Graves, of Queen City. He entered the Army on January 22, 1944, trained at Fort McClellan, Alabama. He served in K Company, 253rd Infantry Regiment, 63rd Infantry Division in France and Germany. He was awarded the Purple Heart Medal, Good conduct medal, ETO Ribbon with one Battle Star, The Combat Infantryman Badge, the American Campaign Medal, and the World War Two Victory Medal. He was wounded in Germany in 1945, and was Killed in Action  February 17, 1945 in Germany, around the age of 19.
