Seaman 2nd Class Joe C. Simpkins

Seaman 2nd Class Joe C. Simpkins, son of Mrs. Carl Allen of Kilgore, He was the brother of Corporal Troy L. Simpkins 38301780, Corporal  Austin L. Simpkins, and Sergeant Thomas Thelbert Simpkins. Entered the Navy in 1942; trained at San Diego. Served on Guam, Tarawa, Saipan and Pelieu. Now on duty in the Pacific (PTO).
