PFC Ray Jeffery, US Army WW1. He was the son of Mrs. Dug Jeffery, the husband of Aslea Russaw and the brother of PFC Horace Jeffery, of Gilmer, Texas. Ray attended Valley View High School. He entered the army in 1918, he trained at Camp Travis. He served in France, and was discharged in 1919.
