Technician Fourth Grade Lovat Gates Davidson 39338465 US Army. He was born on October 31, 1912, in Missouri the son of John Davidson and Clementina Milne Fraser Davidson He married Maxine Dahne on October 25, 1941, in Multnomah, Oregon. Before entering the US Army he was working at City Motor Trucking Company in Portland, Oregon, he was 5 foot 7 inch tall weighed 150 pounds had gray eyes and brown hair. He entered the US Army on August 13,1943, at the age of 30. He entered HQ Company, 63rd Infantry Division on September 13, 1943.He served with the HQ Company for his entire time in Combat. He transferred into the 2nd quartermaster group 7th Army, on August 25, 1945. He was awarded the Good Conduct MedalThe American Theater of operationsthe European Theater of Operations Medal ETO with 2 battle star, the World War Two Victory Medal, and the Army of Occupation Medal.  He died on May 27, 2005, in Columbia, Oregon, at the age of 92.
