Sgt. Samuel J. Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. I. S. Brown , Prescott, Ark. He entered the Army in August, 1941, he trained at Camp Custer Mich. He had further training at Camp Bowie. Texas. He served in England France and Germany. He was wounded in action on April 30, 1945 in Berlin, Germany. As of 1946 he was on duty in Germany. He was Awarded Purple Heart Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Medal, The American Theater of operations, the European Theater of Operations Medal ETO, and the World War Two Victory Medal.
