Private First Class FRED F. BRINKLEY 33091501 US Army KIA – MIA. He was born June 7, 1920 the son of James C Brinkley and Susan V Brinkley of Cedar Creek, Bath, Virginia. He entrance the service on January 26, 1942, at the age of 21. He served in the China Burma India Theater of operations, with Company A 632nd Tank Destroyer Battalion. He was Killed in Action on October 4, 1942, at the age of 22. He earned the Purple Heart Medal (PHM), Good Conduct Medals, American Theater of operations Medal, Asian Pacific Theater of operations, World War Two Victory Medal.
