T/Sergeant Jack W. Atwood son of Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Atwood, of Graham, Texas. He attended Graham High School. He was the husband of Marie McLaren. He entered The US Army in 1942, trained in Nevada, Kansas, Washington and California. He served in India and Okinawa. He was awarded the Asiatic Pacific Theater of operation Medal (PTO), the American Theater of operation Medal, GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL, Merit Unit Award, The World War Two Victory Medal, and 8 Overseas Bars.
