Private First Class Alva L. Anable, USMC

Private First Class Alva L. Anable, USMC. He was the son of Mrs. E. A. Kingsley, brother of TECHNICIAN FIFTH GRADE T/5 Lawrence Rav Anable, and the nephew of Sergeant Lucian Leon White of Graham Texas. Alva was the, husband of Exie Pearl Hayes Anable. He attended Graham High School, and graduate of Shreveport, La. High. He entered the Marine Corps, in 1944, trained in San Diego and Camp Pendleton, California. He served on Iwo Jima. He was awarded the American Theater operation Medal, the Asiatic Pacific Theater of operation Medal (PTO). He was discharged in 1946.
