Staff Sergeant BAZEL E. ALLEN 37242778 KIA US Army. He was born January 19, 1922 in Chillicothe, Missouri. He is the son of George W Allen, and Susie Allen. He entered the US Army on November 28, 1942, at the age of 20. He trained at Camp Breckenridge, Kentucky, Fort Huachuca, Arizona, and served in the 370th Infantry Regiment, 92nd Infantry Division. He embarkation for the European Theater on July 15, 1944. He was Killed in action in Italy, on November 1, 1944, at the age of 22. He earned the Purple Heart Medal (PHM) the Good Conduct Medal (GCM), American campaign medal, the World War Two Victory Medal, and the European Theater of Operations (ETO) Medal. His body was returned to Missouri in 1948.
